Year 6 had a Humanist to come in and talk to the class, which was really interesting. The children found out that there was a lot of similarities with the religions we have learned about in that Humanists believe and try and practise compassion. It was interesting to hear how humanists do not worship a god/have anywhere to meet and do not have a holy book to learn from. The children thought of some great questions – some even involving dinosaurs and aliens!
