Our Year 5 children enjoyed a visit from the Young Shakespeare Company who performed an interactive performance of Macbeth. The children thoroughly enjoyed the dramatic storytelling, brought Shakespeare’s famous characters to life and had the opportunity to get involved in the action themselves. It was a fantastic way to explore this classic play, develop an understanding of Shakespeare’s language and bring the story to life. Year 5 will start their Shakespeare unit in English after the half term.
